Thorncombe Lunch Club

The Club meets in the Village Hall twice a month, and provides a two-course meal at modest cost for senior citizens from the parish. The club owes its success to the willing help given by a cheerful gang of volunteers, and the generous help of the Parish Council.

It provides those living on their own with a chance to meet and talk for an hour or so, and enjoy a meal that might be too much trouble to prepare for just one person. Space is limited, and we are normally fully subscribed, but contact Pauline in Chard Street for details.
