The playground is owned by the Parish Council. It used to consist of just a football pitch, see-saw and swings until it was leased to the Playing Field Association in 1999 as the Parish’s millennium project.

The Association obtained a substantial National Lottery grant which, together with a great deal of hard work and dedication from the management committee and others, has enabled the playground to be completely redesigned.
