The Parish Council is consulted on all planning applications in the parish and its comments will be taken into account.

When an application is received the Parish Council Planning Committee studies the plans, discusses the details with the applicants and briefs the full council. The applicant is invited to speak to the Council before it makes its recommendations on the application.

The recommendation is then forwarded to the West Dorset District Council. This body will then make its decison on the application.
