Rights of Way [mainly footpaths
and bridleways] are maintained
by the County Council. The parish footpath officer has a liaison role
to advise the County of problems and local concerns. The Parish
Council is also consulted on diversion and closure orders.

Through this role, the Parish
Council has had many stiles and bridges
repaired. The improved path to the playground in the village is an
example of a joint initiative. Similarly the safety barrier on this path
was
commissioned by the Parish Council, built by a local contractor and
paid for by the County Council.
